Title VI

Indian Trails, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Indian Trails”) is a Michigan-based intercity bus services provider, operating daily scheduled services throughout Michigan as well as parts of Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Indian Trails operates these schedules under contract with the Michigan Department of Transportation, as well as the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, utilizing both state and federal funding. As a requirement of receiving Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funds, Indian Trails must maintain a policy not to discriminate specifically as it relates to Section 601 of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. This program is designed to ensure adherence to all Title VI requirements and was developed in accordance with FTA Circular 4702.1B.

ADA

Title II and III of the American Disability Act of 1990 (ADA) provides that no entity shall discriminate against an individual with a disability in connection with the provision of transportation services. The law sets forth specific requirements for vehicle and facility accessibility and the provision of service, including access to fixed-route bus. Indian Trails, Inc. is committed to providing safe and reliable transportation to all people without discrimination based on disabilities.
